ABSTRACT:

Objectives: Develop supportive adjunct in pain management to decrease opioid use.

Material and methods: We utilized 3×3 cm Silicon Patches infused with Titanium Salt (SPTS) and imprinted with Extremely Low Electromagnetic Frequency (ELEMF). Being semiconductors, they are passive ELEMF products. SPTS are activated by a Human Biofield. When in contact with the skin, skin acts as a capacitator. SPTS were researched in a phase I double-blind study on experimentally injured hairless rats. The mode of action was analyzed using the computerized Resonant Recognition Model (RRM). The phase II double-blind clinical pilot study has been completed on 20 postoperative abdominal surgery patients utilizing the Won-Baker Pain Rating Scale.

Analysis: RRM analysis found that SPTS   remediates pain through resonances with calcium and sodium pain-related ion channels

Results: Phase I research on rats found that SPTS are not harmful and may enhance wound healing. RRM research has shown that SPTS could mimic similar activity to toxin-based pain killers, but without side effects. Phase II clinical double-blind study was conducted on 20 patients: 10 patients with patch and standard post-operative opioid medication and 10 patients with medication only. ELEMF patch group showed a significant reduction in postsurgical pain intensity and use of opioids.

Discussion: New modality in pain management with nanotechnology ELEMF passive SPTS has shown to significantly reduce need for opioid use.

Conclusion: Although results are promising, further studies on large scale are warranted.

INTRODUCTION:

It is time to revisit a paradigm of a biochemical approach to pathophysiology and pharmacology. Initial pathological processes occur on a quantum-molecular level but are not addressed by the current biochemical paradigm. With the development of quantum physics, a new possibility to consider pathophysiology has emerged. Quantum Biophysics gave birth to Quantum Evidence-Based Medicine and Nanobiotechnology in the last century. This approach concentrates on nonbiological changes that occur on a quantum level in the human body prior to any biochemical changes. Many research projects have been underway in this field at leading universities in the U.S.A. and abroad, as well as at Tuning Element Research and Development Lab.

In the last decade, a new class of health-supporting products has been developed by Tuning Element Technologies (TET). These products are imprinted with ELEMF. These products are passive, have no electrical supply, and are activated by the biofield of the body when in contact with the skin. Skin acts as a capacitator, and ELEMF are transmitted through the connective tissue of the body.

This type of imprinting technology is not new. Presently this technology is used every day in electronics by imprinting microchips with different frequencies. The uniqueness of this product lies in its utilization of the human biofield as an electrical supply.

TET devices work strictly by sending ELEMF information to the body. TET use no medications, herbals or supplements. TET are available OTC in selected stores and pharmacies in the U.S.A. and abroad.

MODE OF ACTION

TET technology was developed in 2010. The products are manufactured in various forms, from skin patches to attractive jewelry like devices and water containers. All products are divided into 5 levels depending on the wavelength blend of ELEMF. TET products are imbedded with harmless ELEMF. Tuning Element LLC optioned to pursue meaningful research data to support its claim. Tuning Element Relief Patches (TERP), marketed as 5minute Relief Patch (5MRP), were chosen to be studied as an easiest form for utilization and compliance assessment; however, all of the products have similar ranges of ELEMF, and their modes of action can be considered as the same.

Phase 1 study was done in 2 institutions.

Missouri State University (MSU) Center for Biomedical and Life Science under Director, Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology, Paul. L. Durham, Ph.D., completed the phase 1, double-blind study on experimental hairless rats. This study concluded in 2015 that TERP are harmless and may enhance surgical wound healing.1

Irena Cosic, Ph.D. Professor Emeritus from RMIT and Director of AMALNA Company, Melbourne, Australia, completed a research project studying TERP. Dr. Cosic writes:

“Conclusions from Studies on Tuning Element 5 Minute Relief Patches (5MRP) Influence on Pain Through Ion Channels as Predicted by the Resonant Recognition Model (RRM): Within this study, we have analyzed pain-related sodium and calcium ion channels, using the RRM model, with the aim to find the characteristic resonant frequencies for opening and closing of these ion channels and to investigate possibility of these frequencies to resonate with frequencies imprinted within 5MRP patches and consequently to propose mechanisms of pain remediation with 5MRP patches. Characteristic frequency for pain related sodium ion channel opening and closing function is fn1=0.1465. This numerical RRM frequency relates to electromagnetic wavelength λ=1372nm. Thus, Titanium, Gold or any other conductive particles in the TERP patches, that are in a diameter of about Dλ=1400nm, Dλ/2=700nm and Dλ/4=350nm, can resonate with pain related sodium ion channels, influence their opening and closing function and consequently influence pain transmission along the nerve (axon). Characteristic frequency for pain related calcium ion channel opening and closing function is fc2=0.1021. This numerical RRM frequency relates to electromagnetic wavelength λ=1968nm. When different modalities of charge transfer through protein backbone is introduced, the resonant frequencies for the opening and closing function of pain related sodium and calcium ion channels could then be in different frequency ranges including THz, GHz, MHz and KHz. These frequencies could also resonate with the frequency imprinted within TERP patches. Results from our study can explain mechanisms of TERP patches remediating pain through resonances with pain related ion channels. This would mean that TERP patches could mimic the similar activity as toxin-based pain killers, but without side effects...”2

The phase 2 clinical pilot study has been completed by our clinic and has been published. We evaluated 5MRP as an adjunct support in postsurgical pain management in a double-blind study for 7 postoperative days. 20 postsurgical patients undergoing abdominal hysterectomy and abdominoplasty 10 were treated with 5MRP as an adjunct to standard postoperative opioid medication, and 10 were treated only with standard postoperative opioid medication. Each patient in both groups received postsurgical Rx for 40 pills of oxycodone/acetaminophen 10/325 mg. We measured 2 parameters: The pain was measured using the pain assessment scale from The National Initiative on Pain Control (Won-Baker algorithm scale 0 to 10) every 8 h and the quantity of opioid medications used by patients was calculated daily and summarized after 7 days.

In group I (with patch), the pain scale never went over 5 during the 7-day period, and opioid usage was less than 10 pills (25%). In group II (no patch), the pain scale averaged 8 to 10 and use of opioids was 40+ (100%).3

Outside of the above IRB study protocol, more than 100 patients were treated with oxycodone/acetaminophen 10/325 post major abdominal gynecological surgeries utilizing supportive 5MRP. Over 80% of patients used less than 10 pills in the 7-day period, a significant decrease in comparison to patients without 5MRP that averaged 100% use of at least 36 pills.

DISCUSSION

What Thomas Huxley stated about 150   years ago still rings true today: “every living cell is consisted of protoplasm which is the physical basis of life.”4 We postulate that the supportive ELEMF emitted by TET provides the correct frequency information and promote healthy protoplasm with high energy and low entropy in the cell resting living state.5 As mentioned, the frequencies in TET items are imprinted with an energetic message, which is passively transmitted and activated with a biofield when in contact with the skin. The biofield is a conglomerate of particle matter fields (electron constituents matter field, quark matter field, and so on). In the quantum physics Standard Model Theory, all the known types of matter and forces are described as quantum fields. They interreact with each other not directly, but by interreacting with intermediary force fields such as quantum electromagnetic fields, the physical aspect of which we call photon and, in this case, a biophoton. Biophoton induced energy is coherent and nonlinear.6 Internally this electromagnetism is created by quantum fields of atomic action in the protoplasm caused by the piezoelectric capacity of connective tissue and cytoskeleton. Piezoelectricity is a static electricity created by bending a crystal, and it is being created all the time in our body by crystals in collagen.7 Collagen acts as a semiconductor. (Semiconductors gave us the possibility for the development of computer intelligence.) Life of every cell in the body and therefore life itself depends on the cell “breathing” ions across the cell membranes and cytoskeleton. Without an electrical charge, the cell will instantly swell up and die.

In humans, internal frequencies merge with material, external energy to form a Human Bioenergy Field.8 The term biofield was proposed in 1992 by an ad hoc committee of Complementary and Alternative Medicine practitioners and researchers convened by the newly established Office of Alternative Medicine at the U.S. National Institutes of Health. The committee defined biofield as: “A massless field, not necessarily electromagnetic, that surrounds and permeates living bodies and affects the body.” The term biofield was accepted as a Medical Subject Heading term at the National Library of Medicine. A biofield can be studied scientifically with the advent of objective monitoring instruments: the Electronic Muscle Tester, Galvanic Skin Response instruments, and most accurately by Bio-Well cameras.10 Biological systems possess the ability to create and utilize coherent oscillation and respond to external oscillation. Biofield changes are measurable before any pathophysiological changes occur11. We have the possibility to influence and correct biofields. Applications of certain frequencies by frequency generating devices such as 5MRP produces electromagnetic resonance within cytoskeleton cellular structures. This will change water molecules and affect the configurations and liquid crystal properties of peptides, proteins, cell membranes, organelle membranes, and DNA12 to respond in this case to pain stimuli thus facilitating pain modulation. This can be measured using the Resonant Recognition Model (RRM).  “RRM can be used as  a tool in predicting protein, RNA and DNA electromagnetic resonances in the wide frequency range Keeping in mind that earlier predictions with tubulin molecules have been experimentally proved, the RRM could be used as a powerful universal method for predicting the electromagnetic resonances in biological macromolecules that could be used in experimental planning and in conjunction with experiments to minimize time and expenditure in exploring such complex macromolecular systems.”13, 14 The human body is a complex living system with a number of different chemical, electrical and mechanical processes running simultaneously and continuously. All those processes depend on healthy protoplasm whose normal function depends on structured water molecules. In Ling’s Association-Induction (AI) hypothesis the minimal unit of living matter is not the living cell but its building block, the protoplasm. Weak modulation of Hertzian Energy (ELEMF) activates selective absorption of K+ over Na+ and allows ATP in the cell when exposed to ELEMF to resonate, activating RNA and DNA, restoring normal homeostasis.12,15 Stochastic resonance enables this action.13, 16 Water molecules are the base of protoplasm in cells and connective tissue. Exposed to ELEMF those molecules are energized and build an “ordered Exclusion Zone (EZ).” EZ is an unexpectedly large zone of water that forms next to many submersed materials.  EZ gets its name because it excludes practically everything. The EZ contains a lot of charge, and its character differs from that of bulk water (the fourth phase of water).14 EZ requires electromagnetic energy and “looks like multiple strands of pearls twisted together.”15 This structured (energized) water exposed to ELEMF resonance, maintains normal protoplasm, activating ATP, RNA and DNA, promoting its normal function,16 following the principle of AI and RRM. This statement is based on the research of I. Cosic, who writes: “certain periodicities within the distribution of energy of delocalized electrons along a protein molecule are critical for protein biological functions and/or interaction with their targets.”17 It appears from the latest research that water has an amplifying role. Some of the data implies that signals are emitted by biomolecules but finally conveyed by water molecules. It is like a string of a guitar: the string vibrates and produces a musical note, but the guitar body amplifies it to audible sound. Thus, researcher Mai Wan-Ho stats: “Water is central to the action of quantum molecular machines…Water is the means, medium, and message of life.”18

CONCLUSION

We believe that 5MRP are effective supportive modalities in pain modulation and will significantly decrease the use of opioids in pain management. The same principle of action is opening doors to a wide variety of new products with different frequencies and applications in promoting health and wellbeing. Our research department has developed a number of different frequencies that are beneficial to wellbeing. Be-Well patches have been recently released as supportive in behavioral patterns, as well as of Autism, ADD, and ADHD19. Harmony patches for hormonal support after successful clinical trials are being prepared for the market shortly. Those products have the same safety and similar mode of action as 5MRP. will be affordable, without side effects, and totally harmless. ELEMF acts on living biological matter and creates communication between biomolecules, which is essential to life. Molecules communicate like a TV set that receives a specific waveform carried from the TV broadcasting station to which it is tuned to resonate. This molecular communication takes place through connective tissue, piezoelectricity of collagen crystals, and structured water molecules that surround all biological molecules.

The future of medicine, the future of the health of humanity is in understanding the mode of action of Quantum Medicine and the entire electromagnetic spectrum of our surroundings and our interaction with it.  At that point, our understanding of pathophysiology will be complete; medical books will be rewritten, and preventive medicine will constitute a majority of medical practice by correcting biofield changes prior to the occurrence of any pathological processes.
